Youth4Innovation: Design Thiking for Climate Action

Are you a young innovator ready to drive change in Circular Economy, Renewable Energy, Climate Action or Water industries? Share your background and motivations to take part in this event. Let's work together for a sustainable future!

Connect4Climate - the Global Partnerships Program of the World Bank Group - together with Politecnico di Torino and the Italian Network of Universities for Sustainable Development (RUS), will organize a dynamic half-day event fostering dialogue exchange and collaboration between private sector organizations and young climate entrepreneurs/innovators.

The event will be hosted at the Politecnico di Torino in Corso Duca degli Abruzzi 24 on 23 April 2024.

The Youth-Private Sector Collaboration event aims to connect young climate champions with industry experts, facilitate a dynamic exchange of ideas for a sustainable future, develop new solutions and create green jobs opportunities.

In particular the event aims to:
- Forge connections between young climate entrepreneurs and private sector leaders in the Circular Economy, Renewable Energies, and Water industries, fostering collaboration and idea exchange.
- Empower both the young participants and the private sector leaders to work together through a creative peer-to-peer learning process in the context of sustainability and innovation.
Facilitate a joint resolution to enable young ideas to be showcased for the G7 and put into practice by the private sector.

The outcomes of the dialogue and collaboration exchange between youth and private sector will be presented during the G7 Meeting by a representative of each task force.

The young leaders (aged 18-35 years old) participating in this event are innovators, creators, and climate enthusiasts, united by a shared commitment to tackling both global and local challenges, and finding practical and realistic solutions by bringing their creativity, resilience, and forward-thinking mindset to the table.
